Hypnosis

Clinical hypnosis is an effective method for achieving change. It provides you with the ability to use your mind to manage both physical and emotional concerns. It is also a valuable tool in promoting personal growth or changing unwanted behaviours. Often it is used to complement other medical or therapeutic techniques.

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind and is experienced either intentionally, or unintentionally, by everyone. Although it is sometimes associated with being strange or mysterious, it is neither. The fact is that people drift in and out of a hypnotic state on a daily basis. Similar to daydreaming it feels so natural it goes unnoticed. Clinical hypnosis uses this natural state of mind we all experience.

Although we know our minds control everything we say, do, think and feel we also know that sometimes we feel particular way but are unable to explain why nor do we possess the ability to change how we feel even if we want to.The conscious mind is the part that we recognize as it processes thoughts and images. It stores our imagination and creativity. Our unconscious mind is the part that is constantly working in the background to process and store thoughts and images that are beyond our awareness, without our conscious realization. It is where our fundamental beliefs about ourselves and our abilities exist. Clinical hypnosis taps into your unconscious mind. Targeting the subconscious core of the matter provides for the effective altering of deeply held negative beliefs and behaviors that no longer serve you. In this sense hypnosis connects the conscious and subconscious mind to help you create the life you desire.
